Quakers Facing the Future

This weekend will bring together the insights and experiences of Meetings engaging with climate change issues, to explore ways of enriching Quaker understanding and witness.  We will reflect on recent developments, the larger issues of sustainable development, and how Quakers can best make a distinctive contribution.

Womens Weekend on Waiheke

The annual Women’s Weekend will be held from Friday March 11 to Sunday March 13 at Friends’ House. Price will only be $20 per person plus food to share. Numbers are limited to 16 so let Barbara K (Mt Eden) know if you wish to come.

Penal Reform seminar 2016

The 2016 seminar on Penal Reform promises to involve Quakers, community agencies and Corrections staff on the vexed question of penal reform.

For Quakers, the purpose of these seminars is to keep the topic firmly in mind, as we strive to draw out the best from defaulters and those seeking to restore them into society.
